Here we will announce our availablity and I will try to check the board more often.
I made this area public; members know where the PIREP thread is now and can use that for more formal reporting.
Here announce when you can or will be on TS3; instructions for TS3 use are elsewhere here.
I am starting off (!) by saying I will be on TS3 now for an hour or so.
I am working on our aircraft trainers, updating my FSX, testing aircraft etc.
Spring Ahead Fall Back - Our local time changes accordingly referencing UTC
Since we are in 'FALL BACK' mode, and I am EST I am 5 hours behind UTC.
If we want to schedule a Friday night flight like this Friday it would Saturday 0100z which is Friday night 8PM EST for me.
We will be using UTC (Z = Zulu) or Universal Coordinated Time for schedules.
So (!) I am on TS3 tonight from 0030-0130z Dec3.
Also since this is public we can use our avatar callsigns here to sign !
Good Luck !

Each member pilot can put their name in here to state their general times when they might be on.
I will generally be on TS3 0030-0130z every night; if I am not on check back during that time I still may login in.
Members check out the TS3 info - we have a space to gather for awhile now !

I am generally available 8PM EST +/- 15 minutes either side - it is possible if no one shows 15-20 minutes after 8 I will be gone ! (That is or should be 0100z).
Our group meeting times are:
Monday and Friday nights at 8PM EST (0100z) - during those times I will try to be on earlier, and for at least 30 minutes after; if no one shows I will more than likely be gone, or I may be flying!!!
My callsign online Vatsim is VNOA01 - I am thinking of shortening the callsigns as such...please do so as well!!

Use of the Beech Baron 58 is authorized for the current NOTAM flight. The NOTAM expires Mar 14, 2011 - no flights on that day!

No flights tonight or probly this week...I am probly configuring VNOAA as a VA for this year..this means limited training to fly missions...
Missions are currently not available except for the 2 area familiarization flight areas...A MINIMUM OF 5 RECORDED FLIGHT HOURS ARE REQUIRED HERE PRIOR TO FLYING ANY VNOAA MISSIONS...ALL PILOTS MUST BE QUALIFIED BY ME PERSONALLY AFTER THE AREA FAM FLIGHTS ARE COMPLETED, AND THEIR NAMES BE ON THE PUBLIC ROSTER AS WELL.
I will be working on the roster, missions, and an improved PIREP system. All missions must be created and have mission numbers prior to any flights, as only those missions listed are available for flights. There will be a public missions page first, then some missions fr private use; this is my current priority so that VNOAA can fly without me for the months I am working on my new place this year.
Good luck!

Howdi,
No flights tonite - if anyone wants to fly the 5 hour area fam required flights they are free to do so. They must be local VFR within the 100nm southern boundaries as required; preferably 50nm out max range to do some flight practice - turns, stalls, etc.
These are to be done in the Beech. If you send flight analyses of any flights they will be used for extra credit somehow.
Flight Callsigns Are Now: NOA001 (My exclusive callsign) NOA002, NOA003 etc as available
Please check Vatsim whos online to see if anyone is on. These 5 hour total flights are mandatory by everyone before becoming an official 'Cadet' member of VNOAA.
I will try to work on the site: roster, missions, etc this week...
Not sure if I will be on TS3 tonite at 8PM but check +/- 15 minutes; after 8:15PM I wont be on.

Howdi,
Work is very slow for awhile - again I am still tryin to update the pages to add the roster, missions etc...
I had some problems with my computers which is being resolved...
I have installed Windows7 and am reinstalling FSX over it - I know there was an improvement with Vista so now I will be trying FSFDT program, FSINN on FSX - what a thrill...
That will take some time...
Most of the missions this year will be using FSX so new member take note.
I will still try to work on missions for both FS9/FSX.

Howdi,
I wont be around this week - not sure if I can do anything to the site.
Everything is still in progress - roster page, missions, training programs, etc...
New prospective pilots, although not technically members are still allowed to use the appropriate callsign to fly up to a maximum of 10 hours in the a rea familiarization flights and send the info out to the PIREP.
Make sure you use your forum name added to the remarks so I know who to give credit for the hours, as no one is assigned any specific callsign; the callsigns are used on a first come first served basis on Vatsim for now; when there is more activity and regular flights I will assign the callsigns.

Howdi,
I have installed Windows 7 then FSX, the Orig SDK, SP1a for SDK, ACC Pack CD, then finally the SDK2 downloaded for Acc Pak.
Although I am gonna be busy it looks like lots of rain this week so this may be my last chance to do updates for a free floating VNOAA this summer.
I think I can make changes to the PIREP reporting page - note to self.
Mon/Fri notes 8PM Est is still open for us to get together on TS3; my availability is sketchy. Lets fly pilots; inactive members will be deleted on a final notice; I will forgo this until VNOAA is ready.

Hello,
I am making myself scarce unfortunately I been busy with things so havnt had time to devote here.
It'll probly get worse before it gets better - again I will still try to get the site updated whenever I can.
I havnt been flying either, however as far as Vatsim anf flightsimming I am going nowhere else except for totally different sims altogether like Falcon 4 and Blackshark (which I also quit for awhile)...
Any members here wishing to join an awesome group of Falcon 4 flightsimmers let me know; I belong and can help you get started.
As for military sims Falcon 4 Allied Force is where it's at for me right now; I have given up on mil-simming on Vatsim, but I will still try to work out joint efforts with any VA's on Vatsim.
New prospective members just fly and report 5 hours and I will get back to business here; otherwise I have flown the coup for awhile.
